About Rose

Rose Zacharias is running to be the MPP in Barrie–Springwater–Oro-Medonte. Currently serving the Barrie area as a family doctor, Rose has also spent the last 20 years working in the emergency department at Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in Orillia.

Having served as the President of the Ontario Medical Association (OMA), she’s seen first-hand the impact that eight years of cuts from the current government has had on our healthcare system and knows it’s time for serious change. Rose is running to bring more family doctors to the community and improve access to healthcare for you.

Life is more expensive than ever before, and as a mom to four children, Rose knows costs must come down to support our families and the local economy. Our plan to introduce tax cuts for families and small businesses will make your life more affordable – saving middle-class families approximately $1,150 every year.
